What “zero nicotine” really means
A zero nicotine vape contains 0 mg/ml of nicotine in its e-liquid. The rest of the liquid is the same as a normal vape: propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG) and flavourings, heated by a coil into an aerosol that you inhale. So a nicotine-free vape removes the addictive ingredient, but it is still an inhaled product and is not risk-free. We don’t make health claims for any vape, with or without nicotine.
Always check the strength on the label, not just the name. Some products use “Zero” as a model name while still containing nicotine; for example, the Sikary Cloud Zero 20000 we sell is a 20 mg device, not a nicotine-free one, so it is not in this guide. The products in the table above are all listed at 0 mg or 0%. If you are unsure about any product, message us before ordering. Who a nicotine-free vape suits
Zero nicotine vapes tend to suit a few groups of adults. Some already vape and want an option without nicotine for part of the day. Some enjoy the flavour and the ritual of vaping but don’t want nicotine at all. Others want to try vaping flavours before committing to a nicotine device. Whatever the reason, a 0 mg vape gives the same draw and flavour as its nicotine equivalent, just without the throat hit nicotine adds, so it can feel smoother and lighter.
Because there is no nicotine, you won’t feel the “hit” that regular vapers expect, and some people find the vapour tastes slightly different. Zero nicotine vapes are still age-restricted: vaping products are for adults 18 and over only, and they are not suitable for anyone who does not already smoke or vape. Zero nicotine e-liquids
If you use a refillable pod kit or tank, you can choose a 0 mg e-liquid instead of a disposable. This is usually cheaper per millilitre and gives you a much wider choice of flavours. Most 0 mg e-liquids are freebase and come in larger bottles. Nicotine-free freebase e-liquid works best in a direct-lung or restricted direct-lung device with a lower-resistance mesh coil, since there is no nicotine to limit how much vapour you take in.
