How to choose a vape battery

• Size: check the battery type your mod takes (18650, 20700 or 21700). They are not interchangeable.
• Continuous discharge rating (amps): this matters more than capacity. Choose a cell rated above the current your build draws.
• Capacity (mAh): higher capacity means longer time between charges, usually at a lower amp rating.
• Matched pairs: dual-battery mods need two identical cells of the same age and charge level.

Why genuine batteries matter

Counterfeit cells often carry inflated capacity and amp ratings, which can cause overheating when used at high power. Buying genuine batteries from a trusted seller is the simplest way to stay safe. If a battery gets hot during normal use, loses charge unusually fast or shows any damage to the wrap or top cap, stop using it and recycle it at a battery collection point.

Store loose batteries in a plastic case, never in a pocket with keys or coins, and replace any cell with a torn or damaged wrap. Charge with a dedicated charger where possible, and never leave batteries charging unattended. Our guide to choosing the best vape battery in the UAE explains ratings in more detail. Batteries for pod kits are built in; see Pod Devices. We deliver across all seven emirates: Dubai orders arrive within 2 hours (depending on traffic), and Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain within 24 hours.
