Overview
Our RELX Infinity 2 review in short: it’s the most capable pod device in the RELX range, adding a 440 mAh battery, roughly 20-to-30-minute USB Type-C charging and three power modes to the simple, sealed-pod formula that made the original Infinity popular. It’s a mouth-to-lung device for adults who want a tidy, low-maintenance vape with a little control over strength of draw. At Vape Store Web the Infinity 2 kit costs AED 140 and uses RELX Pod Pro 2 cartridges from AED 30. This review is based on RELX’s published specifications and how the device compares with the rest of the range; below you’ll find the specs, what each feature means in daily use, a pros and cons table and who should buy it. For adults aged 18 and over only.

RELX Infinity 2 specs at a glance
We start this RELX Infinity 2 review with the numbers. The table compares the Infinity 2 with the two devices it replaces in the Infinity family. The headline changes are the battery, the charging speed and the power modes; the pod format and fixed mouth-to-lung airflow stay the same.

Design and build
The Infinity 2 keeps the slim, flat “stick” shape of the original Infinity but moves to an elliptical aluminium alloy body with a satin finish. At 112 mm long, 23 mm wide and 10 mm thick, and about 36 g, it disappears into a shirt pocket and is easy to use one-handed.
There’s one side button, used to change power mode and to check the battery. A four-bar LED shows the charge level, and a second light shows the current mode by colour: green for Eco, blue for Smooth and purple for Boost. That’s a step up from the single status light on older Infinity models.
The pod attaches magnetically and can go in either way round, so there’s no fiddling to line it up. The pods themselves are semi-transparent, which lets you see how much e-liquid is left at a glance, a small but useful detail when you’re deciding whether to carry a spare.
Build quality is typical of RELX: solid, with tight tolerances around the pod. As with any metal-bodied device, it’s worth using a case or keeping it away from keys, since the satin finish shows scratches over time.
Power modes and battery life
The three power modes are the biggest reason to choose the Infinity 2 over the Infinity Plus. Eco runs at about 5.5 W for a lighter, cooler draw and saves battery. Smooth, at about 6.5 W, matches the feel of the original Infinity. Boost, at about 8 W, gives warmer, denser vapour and a stronger throat hit from the same pod.
In practice, most people settle on Smooth for everyday use and switch to Boost when a flavour tastes muted, or to Eco when the battery is running low. Note that power modes only work with RELX Pod Pro 2 cartridges. Older Pod Pro pods run at a single default output if they fit at all.
The 440 mAh battery is about 15% larger than the 380 mAh cell in the Infinity and Infinity Plus. Real battery life depends on the mode and how often you vape, but a typical user can expect the best part of a day on Smooth, less on Boost and more on Eco.
Charging is where the Infinity 2 feels most improved. Over USB Type-C it reaches a full charge in roughly 20 to 30 minutes, against around 45 minutes for older Infinity models. A 10-minute top-up before heading out usually gives enough charge for several hours.
Pods and flavour
The Infinity 2 uses RELX Pod Pro 2 cartridges: sealed, pre-filled pods of about 1.9 ml with a ceramic coil. There’s nothing to refill and no coil to change; when the flavour fades or the pod runs dry, you swap it. RELX lists up to about 2,000 puffs per pod, though real life depends on draw length and power mode.
Ceramic coils are known for clean, consistent flavour and a smooth mouth-to-lung draw. Because the coil and liquid are replaced together, you don’t get the gradual flavour drop that comes with an ageing coil in a refillable pod. The downside is cost per day, which is higher than refilling a pod with bottled e-liquid.
Pod Pro 2 differs from the older Pod Pro in the shape of its magnets, so the device can tell them apart and enable the power modes. If you already own a stock of original Pod Pro pods, check our RELX pod compatibility guide before buying, as the fit and features differ.
At Vape Store Web, RELX Pod Pro 2 cartridges start at AED 30. Check the nicotine strength of the flavour you choose on the product page.
Daily use features
The Infinity 2 fires automatically when you inhale, so there’s no button to hold. The draw is fixed mouth-to-lung, tight and cigarette-like, which suits salt-nicotine pods and most people moving from cigarettes to pod vaping. There’s no adjustable airflow, so if you want a loose, airy draw, this isn’t the device for you.
Two feedback features stand out. Haptic feedback gives a short vibration when you change modes. RELX’s “Smartpace” feature gives a gentle vibration after a set number of puffs in one session (about every 15 puffs), which helps you notice how much you’re vaping without counting.
Leak resistance is generally good because the pods are sealed at the factory, and the magnetic connection keeps the pod firmly seated. As with any pod device, keep it out of direct sunlight and hot cars in the UAE summer, which can thin the e-liquid and cause spitting or leaks.

Pros and cons
To sum up this RELX Infinity 2 review, here’s how the device comes out once you put its features and price side by side with the rest of the RELX range.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Three power modes (5.5 / 6.5 / 8 W) | Power modes need Pod Pro 2 pods |
| Larger 440 mAh battery | No adjustable airflow |
| Fast USB Type-C charging (about 20–30 min) | Pre-filled pods cost more per day than bottled e-liquid |
| Magnetic, reversible pods you can see through | Satin metal finish can scratch |

RELX Infinity 2 review verdict: who should buy it?
The RELX Infinity 2 is the one to buy if you want a RELX pod device and are willing to spend a little more for real improvements you’ll notice every day: faster charging, a bigger battery and a choice of three power levels. It suits adults who prefer a tight mouth-to-lung draw and sealed pods over refilling.
Choose the Infinity Plus instead if you want the simplest possible button-free device and don’t care about power modes, or the RELX Essential if budget comes first. If you’d rather not deal with pods at all, a RELX disposable such as the Peace 25K is the easier option.
Buy the RELX Infinity 2 pod kit for AED 140, with delivery within 2 hours in Dubai (depending on traffic) and 24 hours across the other emirates. See the full RELX line-up on our RELX brand page.
Does the RELX Infinity 2 take original Pod Pro pods?
Pod Pro 2 is the pod designed for it. Retailer tests report that older Pod Pro pods can fit, but only at one default power level. See our pod compatibility guide.
How long does the RELX Infinity 2 battery last?
Usually most of a day on Smooth mode for a typical user, longer on Eco and shorter on Boost.
Is the RELX Infinity 2 good for beginners?
Yes. It fires on inhale, uses sealed pods and has a familiar tight draw. Beginners can simply leave it on Smooth mode.
How do I change the power mode?
See every in-stock RELX model compared in our RELX Full Range Guide.
Use the side button to cycle through Eco (green), Smooth (blue) and Boost (purple); the device vibrates to confirm each change. The exact button sequence is in the user manual in the box.
