XROS series: MTL pods
XROS is Vaporesso’s mouth-to-lung pod line and its single best-selling family – slim, refillable, and built for nic salts. The lineup has grown into three generations that overlap: the original XROS 2 and XROS 3 (both AED 99–129), the smaller XROS 3 Mini and XROS Nano, and the newer XROS 4 family (4, 4 Mini, 4 Nano, Cube, Pro, Pro 2), which adds a screen and slightly higher wattage. The newest XROS 5 and XROS 5 Mini use a redesigned pod with a wider bore. See our dedicated Vaporesso pod compatibility guide for exactly which pod fits which generation, and our XROS 3 Mini review and XROS 4 Nano review for hands-on detail.
Luxe series: everyday pod kits
Luxe sits above XROS in power (16–80W) and works for MTL, restricted-lung or direct-lung depending on the coil. The Luxe Q and Luxe Qs are the compact entry point, while Luxe X, Luxe X2 and Luxe X3 share the same Luxe X pod family across three hardware generations – useful if you already own Luxe X pods and just want a newer body. The Luxe XR Max tops the family at 80W with a larger Luxe XR pod. Read our Luxe X2 review, Luxe X Pro review and Luxe Q2 SE review for more.
Armour, Target & GTX: power pod mods
These three families all share Vaporesso’s GTX/GTi coil ecosystem and step up from pod kit to small tank mod – adjustable wattage, bigger tanks (usually 5–8ml) and standalone or removable-battery power up to 220W. Armour (G, GS, S, Ultra, Max, OCTA) is the biggest of the three, running from a plain GTX coil pod at the low end to 220W dual/quad-battery mods at the top. Target (80 Tank Edition, 100 iTank 2, 200) and GTX One (40W, Pro) sit in the same power band and are largely interchangeable choices for direct-lung, sub-ohm vaping. See our Armour S review, Armour Max review and Target 100 iTank 2 write-up.
Gen series: starter mods
Gen is Vaporesso’s mainstream mod-and-tank starter line, aimed at freebase e-liquid and bigger clouds rather than nic-salt MTL. It spans the compact Gen Nano (80W, 2000mAh) up through Gen SE, Gen 200 and the flagship Gen 220W / Gen Max, all using replaceable GTX coils. These use external or removable batteries at the top end rather than a fixed internal cell, so check the product page for battery type before buying. See our Gen 200 review and Gen Max review.
Eco series: compact & starter
Eco is Vaporesso’s budget-friendly entry tier. The Eco Nano and Eco Nano 13000 Puffs pack a 6ml tank into a small pod-mod body from AED 80, while the Eco Nano Plus adds a larger 1400mAh battery. The Eco One and Eco One Pro are simple vape pens rather than pod kits, built around Vaporesso’s EUC coil. Two Vibe pod kits (Vibe SE 2, Vibe Pod System) round out the budget tier with their own Vibe pod – see our Vibe pod cartridge review and Vibe Nano Pro review.
Which pods and coils fit which kit
Vaporesso’s biggest gotcha is that similarly-named kits often use different pods. As a rule: XROS-generation kits take their own generation’s pod (XROS, XROS 3 or XROS 5 pods aren’t interchangeable), Luxe X/X2/X3 all share the Luxe X series cartridge, and every Armour/Target/GTX/Gen tank mod uses a GTX mesh coil or the newer GTi coil depending on the tank. If you’re not sure which your device takes, check the model printed on the pod itself or send us a photo before ordering – our full Vaporesso pod compatibility guide breaks down every generation in detail. Match coil resistance to your e-liquid: higher resistance (1.0–1.2Ω) for MTL salt nic, lower (0.15–0.4Ω) for DTL freebase – our freebase vs salt nic guide explains why.
Which Vaporesso should you buy?
For a first device or simple MTL vaping on salt nic, the XROS 3 Mini or XROS 4 Mini (AED 99–100) is the easiest starting point in the whole range. If you want adjustable power in a similar-sized pod, the Luxe X2 or Luxe X3 (AED 130–140) are the best middle ground. For bigger clouds and freebase e-liquid, the GTX One Pro or Target 80 Tank Edition (AED 150–170) give you a proper sub-ohm tank without going all the way to a 220W mod – save the Armour Max or Gen Max (AED 220–230) for when you specifically want maximum wattage and battery life.
Every Vaporesso kit here is refillable, so pair it with e-liquid from our best e-liquid brands in the UAE guide and browse the full Vaporesso range. Orders deliver within 24 hours across the UAE, with a paid 2-hour express option in Dubai. Nicotine products are sold to adults 18+ only, per UAE e-cigarette rules.
FAQ
What’s the difference between XROS and Luxe?
XROS is Vaporesso’s dedicated MTL line (16–20W, tight draw, nic salts). Luxe runs higher power (16–80W) and can do both MTL and looser restricted-lung draws depending on the pod, making it the better choice if you want one device to cover both styles.
Do all Vaporesso pod kits use the same pod?
No. Each XROS generation (XROS, XROS 3, XROS 5) has its own pod; Luxe X, X2 and X3 share one pod family; Luxe Q, Qs and Q3 each use a different one; and Armour/Target/GTX/Gen tank mods all use GTX or GTi coils. Always check your exact model before buying spares.
Which Vaporesso is best for cloud chasing?
The Armour Max, Armour OCTA, Gen Max and Gen 220W all reach 220W with replaceable batteries and GTX/GTi sub-ohm coils – any of these will out-cloud the pod-kit end of the range.
Can I use salt nic in a Vaporesso tank mod?
Not comfortably – the Armour/Target/GTX/Gen tanks are built for freebase e-liquid at low-ohm coils. For salt nic, stick to the XROS or Luxe pod kits, which use higher-resistance coils suited to nic salts. In the UAE, e-liquid nicotine is capped at 20mg/ml.
