Overview
Choosing an online vape shop in Dubai comes down to seven checks you can do in a few minutes before you order: genuine and certified products, clear nicotine strengths, real age checks, honest delivery times, workable payment options, a written return policy and a business you can actually contact. Getting these right protects you from counterfeit devices, wrong strengths and orders that never arrive. This guide walks through each check, explains why it matters under UAE rules, and shows how Vape Store Web handles it, so you can hold any shop, including ours, to the same standard. Vape products are sold to adults aged 18 and over only.

In this guide
1. Genuine, certified products
The first check is whether the shop sells genuine products. Counterfeit disposables and pods are common in the region, and they’re the main reason people get leaking devices, burnt tastes and batteries that die early. A fake can also contain a different nicotine strength from the one printed on the box.
In the UAE, electronic nicotine products must meet the national standard and be certified through ECAS, the conformity scheme run by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). A trustworthy shop will talk openly about where its stock comes from rather than just saying “100% original” in a banner.
Signs to look for: product names that match the manufacturer’s own model names, verification codes or scratch labels on the packaging that you can check on the brand’s website, and prices that aren’t far below every other seller. A price that’s half the market rate is usually a warning, not a bargain.
How we handle it: every product we sell comes from verified supply channels, and our Authenticity Guarantee explains the checks we run before a product is listed. If a box has a brand verification code, keep it and check it on arrival.
2. Clear nicotine strengths
A good shop shows the nicotine strength of every product clearly, in mg/ml or as a percentage, on the product page and in the variant you select at checkout. This matters more than it sounds. The same flavour is often sold in several strengths, and picking the wrong one is the most common reason customers are unhappy with a device.
The UAE standard for electronic nicotine products caps e-liquid at 20 mg/ml, and packs must state that sale to under-18s is prohibited (Tobacco Control Laws – UAE e-cigarette policies). Stronger products made for other markets are also sold online, so read the strength on the product page and the pack, not just the flavour name.
Watch for listings that hide the strength, list it only in an image, or give a range without saying which one you’ll receive. Before you order, check that the variant in your cart shows the exact strength you want.
How we handle it: strength is listed on every product page and in the checkout variant. If you’re unsure what strength suits your device, our e-liquid nicotine strength guide explains each level, and our team can help on WhatsApp.
3. Real age verification
Selling vape products to anyone under 18 is illegal in the UAE. A responsible shop does more than show an “I am over 18” pop-up. It states its age policy in writing and checks ID on delivery when there’s any doubt.
This protects you as well as the shop. A business that ignores age rules is likely to cut corners elsewhere too, from product sourcing to returns. If a site has no age policy at all, treat it as a red flag.
Look for three things: a dedicated age-restriction page, a note on the checkout or delivery page that ID may be requested, and product pages that carry an 18+ notice. Delivery staff asking for an Emirates ID or passport is a good sign, not an inconvenience.
How we handle it: our Age Restriction policy sets out the rules, every product page carries an 18+ and nicotine notice, and our delivery team may ask for valid ID before handing over an order.
It’s also worth reading a shop’s health information. A responsible seller doesn’t describe vaping as a medical product or a way to stop smoking, and makes clear that nicotine is addictive and not for non-smokers. Our Responsible Vaping / Health Disclaimer covers this.
4. Honest delivery times
Delivery speed is one of the main reasons people buy vapes online in Dubai rather than visiting a shop. The check here is simple: does the shop state specific delivery times per emirate, or only vague promises like “super fast”?
A clear delivery policy names the emirates covered, gives realistic time windows, explains what happens if you miss the courier, and states the delivery fee or when delivery is free. Traffic, public holidays and late-night orders all affect timings, and an honest shop says so.
Also check the working hours. A shop that promises 1-hour delivery but only answers messages in the afternoon won’t meet that promise in the evening. Match the stated hours to when you usually order.
How we handle it: Dubai orders are delivered within 2 hours, depending on traffic, and orders to Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain within 24 hours. Our working hours are 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Full details are in our Shipping Policy, and our Delivery Areas page lists the neighbourhoods we cover in each emirate.
5. Payment options and returns
Check which payment methods the shop accepts in your emirate before you order, because options often differ. Cash on delivery is popular because you only pay once the order is in your hands. Card payment and bank transfer suit repeat customers. A shop that only accepts an unusual payment method, or asks you to pay a personal account, is a risk.
Returns are the other half of this check. Vape products are hygiene-sensitive, so no shop accepts opened disposables or e-liquids back for a change of mind. What you should expect is a written policy for damaged, faulty, wrong or missing items, with a clear reporting window and steps to follow. Your rights under UAE consumer protection law still apply to defective products.
Red flags: no return policy page, a policy that says “no returns under any circumstances”, or one that asks you to post items back at your own cost for a fault that isn’t yours.
How we handle it: in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman you can pay by cash on delivery, card or bank transfer; in the other emirates by cash on delivery or bank transfer. Our Return Policy covers damaged, wrong, missing and faulty items reported within 24 hours of delivery.
6. A business you can contact
The last check is whether there’s a real business behind the website. Look for a physical address, a phone or WhatsApp number that someone actually answers, stated working hours and a contact form that works. Send a quick question before your first order: how fast and how clearly the shop replies tells you a lot about how it will handle a problem later.
Also look at who writes the product information. A shop that explains who reviews its pages, and how it checks specifications against the manufacturer, is more likely to describe products accurately. Copy-pasted descriptions full of superlatives and no specifics are a sign nobody has checked them.
Be wary of shops that exist only as a social media page with no website, no address and no policies. If something goes wrong, there’s nothing to fall back on.
How we handle it: you can reach us on WhatsApp at +971 55 261 3358 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, or through our contact form. Our address is China A11, Warsan First, China Cluster, Dubai. Our Editorial Standards page explains who reviews our product information and how.
