Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO: First Impressions
The Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO is a compact, square-bodied pod kit built around a 1000mAh battery and a 2ml refillable pod, aimed at vapers who want a no-fuss daily device. This Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO review looks at how it performs, who it suits, and how it stacks up against the newer Caliburn G5 Lite KOKO.
What Is the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO?
The G4 Pro KOKO is a refillable pod kit with a pocket-friendly square body and a lanyard loop, built around Uwell’s mesh coil and Pro-FOCS flavour system. It supports both nicotine salts and freebase e-liquids.
1000mAh Battery and 2ml Refillable Pod Explained
The 1000mAh built-in battery is sized for reliable daily use with Type-C fast charging to top it back up quickly between sessions. The 2ml refillable pod keeps the device slim, though it does mean more frequent refills than a higher-capacity pod kit.
Mesh Coil and Pro-FOCS Flavour Explained
The integrated mesh coil is paired with Uwell’s Pro-FOCS flavour enhancement technology, which is designed to keep taste consistent and vapour dense across the life of the pod. Adjustable airflow lets you fine-tune the draw to your preference.
Is the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO Good for Beginners?
Yes. This Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO review found the auto-draw firing system needs no buttons or settings at all, which makes it one of the simplest pod kits to pick up for a first-time vaper.
Nicotine Strength Depends on the E-Liquid You Choose
Unlike a disposable vape, the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO has no built-in nicotine strength – it’s a refillable pod device, so nicotine level depends entirely on whichever freebase e-liquid or nicotine salt you fill it with. UAE-compliant e-liquids sold through licensed retailers are capped at 20mg/mL nicotine salt concentration under ESMA/MoIAT rules, so it’s worth checking the strength on the bottle rather than assuming a fixed figure for the device itself.
Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO vs Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite KOKO
Uwell has since released the G5 Lite KOKO as a successor in the same square-bodied KOKO line, so it’s worth seeing what the newer model changes. Here’s how the two compare on paper.
| Feature | Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO (this page) | Caliburn G5 Lite KOKO |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | 1000mAh | 1600mAh |
| Pod capacity | 2ml | 3ml |
| Power output | Auto draw firing | Fixed, auto-adjusts to coil |
| Coil system | Mesh + Pro-FOCS | Pro-FOCS (G/G2 series coils) |
| Screen or buttons | None | None |
| Price (AED) | From 120 | From 90 |
Which one should you choose? If you already like the G4 Pro KOKO’s mesh coil flavour and don’t mind the smaller pod, it still holds up well. If you want a longer-lasting battery and a bigger 3ml pod at a lower price, the newer G5 Lite KOKO is worth considering instead.
Colours Available for the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO
The Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO comes in six colourways: Coral Pink, Cosmic Gray, Crystal White, Glass Blue, Mirror Silver, and Waves Black.
Is the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO Legal to Buy in Dubai?
Vaping has been legal in the UAE since April 2019, with electronic nicotine products certified by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) through the ECAS scheme against standard UAE.S 5030:2018. Sale is restricted to adults 18 and over under Federal Law No. 15 of 2009 – see our age restriction policy for details, and Vape Store Web verifies buyer age with Emirates ID or passport at checkout.
UAE Vaping Regulations and the Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO
Every Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO sold through a licensed UAE retailer should carry ECAS/MoIAT certification against standard UAE.S 5030:2018, which covers manufacturing and labelling requirements for vaping hardware. Nicotine is an addictive chemical, and anyone new to vaping should weigh the health considerations involved – the CDC’s overview of e-cigarettes and vaping is a useful independent starting point alongside this review.
Pros, Cons and Final Verdict
Weighing everything above, here’s the honest trade-off this device asks you to make.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Compact square design with lanyard option | Smaller battery than the newer G5 Lite KOKO |
| Mesh coil plus Pro-FOCS for strong flavour | 2ml pod needs more frequent refills |
| Simple auto-draw activation, no buttons | No wattage adjustment for fine-tuning |
| Adjustable airflow for a personalised draw | Pods are a recurring cost on top of e-liquid |
